Here at REACT First Aid & Safety Services we are committed to providing you with First Aid, CPR and Defibrillator Training programs that are innovative, interactive and fun! We are a local company dedicated to servicing our clients to the highest level, offering a wide range of First Aid, CPR and Defibrillator courses and products. We deliver CPR and AED training in accordance with the guidelines set out by the Canadian Red Cross, and are a certified training partner with them.

REACT First Aid & Safety Services can offer our training programs to businesses, corporations, groups, and schools, on site at your location to deliver a dynamic and practical training program, customized to meet your specific needs. Individuals and small groups can register for one of our regularly scheduled public courses.

Yes - Courses are running as scheduled

React First Aid’s Response to COVID-19 Update. Our company is committed to supporting our communities and the COVID-19 initiatives, while maintaining the safety of our staff and participant by providing clean, safe spaces for our high-quality lifesaving programs. Effective Immediately ; each participants is being asked to wear a face covering when coming to any of our locations. This covering will be worn in all spaces such as reception, classrooms, and washrooms. Hand hygiene stations are available all throughout our facilities and our staff will kindly remind you to sanitize during your time with us.  The classroom has been re-organized to accommodate only the number of participants that can ensure a minimum physical distance of six feet from all others. Participants also will not be sharing equipment during their program. Once seated and remaining minimum physical distances in the classroom, lowering or removal of your face covering is acceptable when performing CPR. All equipment used is cleaned and disinfected after each student and additional cleaning/sanitization products are available in the classroom for participants additional comfort.  We remind all participant to contact our office BEFORE coming to class if you answer YES to any of these questions:  Do you have any new onset (or worsening) of any of the following symptoms:

a. Fever, Cough, Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, Runny Nose, Sore Throat, Chills, Painful swallowing, Nasal Congestion, feeling unwell/fatigued, Nausea/vomiting/diarrhea, Unexplained loss of appetite, loss of sense of taste or smell, Muscle/joint aches, Headache, Conjunctivitis (commonly known as pink eye)

b. Travelled outside of Canada in the last 14 days? Individuals are legally required to quarantine for 14 days when returning to Alberta from outside of Canada unless exempted by Alberta COVID-19 Border Testing Pilot Program.

c. Have had close contact with a case of COVID-19 in the last 14 days.

d. Are awaiting test results for a recent COVID19 test. 

In this case, React First Aid will happily reschedule your program after the required isolation periods have passed and you are symptom free. If we have not heard from you, we assume you will be joining your program as scheduled, or if you do not arrive on time a no show and forfeit of course fees will apply.
